Luck of the Irish

I’ve always been a huge celebrator of St. Patrick’s Day.  There’s just something exciting about dying all your favorite foods and drinks green for this one fun filled day.  I’m always looking for an excuse to plan a party and this year, I decided to host my own St. Paddy’s Day party.  Now what does every good party have?  Good food and good company, of course.  Since it is a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, I’m going all out with all things green.  From the food, tablecloths, decorations, and we can’t forget to get a cute green outfit to help us celebrate the day.

St. Paddy’s Day Decorations

One thing to help your party be the most memorable things are the decorations.  Since I am still a college student, I am always looking for the best deals and this party was no different.

I made sure to have a selfie station because what girl doesn’t love to take selfies and no station is complete unless you include fun props! I planned on having the backdrop as hanging shamrocks from the ceiling and a huge St. Patrick's Day banner would be hanging to greet my guests.

Green Food/Beverage Ideas

My favorite part about St. Paddy's day is using food coloring to dye all the food and drinks green. This year, I plan on making pasta that is shaped for shamrocks and for dessert, there will be cupcakes with cute cupcake toppers!

Fun St. Patrick's Day Outfits

Most of my friends will probably dress in over the top green attire but I think this year, I’m going to lean more towards a cute green dress.  Dresses are always my go to outfit for any occasion, whether I dress it up or dress it down.

So what are you waiting for? St. Patrick’s Day will be here before you know it!
